It seems that many iPhone buyers are getting the bad news from AT&T and Apple confirming to them that their iPhone4 pre-order didn’t go through. Or rather their order has been canceled!
Here is what the email reads:
We were unable to complete the authorization process for your iPhone order. As a result, we had to cancel your iPhone order. To complete the purchase of your iPhone, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an AT&T company-owned retail store.
We had a little work around for you when the initial reports of the pre-order system for iPhone4 failing came in. Its simple to ensure a pickup from the Apple Store using the online panel and just visiting the Apple store on launch day or a day after (better than waiting till sometime in July).
