The iPhone 4 has come with its own share of controversies. While the new antenna system in the 2010 iPhone is good and the general opinion suggests improved reception on the iPhone, its clear that there is a little catch with reception issues depending on how you hold the phone. Now after all the Sjobs emails and talk of bad design … it turns out that Apple might be preparing to fix this issue using a software update. It is rumored that the iOS 4 has some little bug in the baseband and a OS version 4.-1 might comeout as soon as Monday. Gadget Avenue has some text from deleted threads on the Apple tech support forum:
The fix is expected to address a issue in iOS 4 related to radio frequency calibration of the baseband.
