Apple has just gone official with the new iLife and we are seeing the iPhoto 11. Its awesome and we are hearing a new Facebook integration. Here are the updates
iPhoto 11
- Full screen view
- New Slide shows using maps or just Albums
- Email photos without leaving iPhoto. A share button just as you see on iOS, but mail app is not required, the mail interface opens in iPhoto itself.
- iPhoto info panel also saves history of images, whom I emailed, when I facebooked and what responses it got on facebook!
- New books / cards interface, full screen again. Customize each page, reorganize pages…
- And a new printing process for books. Leaves a emboss affect on paper
iMovie 11
- The number 1 request was for better audio editing (we agree). And its worked upon. Audio wave forms show up along with Video in project thumbnail and can be edited there and there itself
- Audio effects now compliments Video effects. Single click changes.
- Instant Reply – AWESOME
- Create your own Movie Trailers. Awesome again
- Face Detection on iMovie now
- New Sharing options – Facebook, Vimeo and more!
Garageband 11
- Groove matching feature – fixes mismatch with 1 click. Kind of spell checker for bad rythm
- New Flex Time: Click on the wave form and stretch, drag as you like
