PayPal has announced a bunch of new feature additions and mobile centric applications at its developer conference being held at San Francisco. The new features include a two-click mobile payment system called Mobile Express Checkout and a new version of the PayPal for iPhone application.
The PayPal Express checkout feature is for power users who are frequently logged in and need to complete multiple transactions in quick time.
The other application is version 3.0 of the PayPal for iPhone application. This application supports location-based features using which users can find nearby businesses that accept Paypal. The feature known as PayPal local would however be only available in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Other locations ae expected to be covered very soon.
This update comes after the launch of the App earlier this year in April. PayPal Mobile 3.0 also has the option to let merchants send deals and promotions to customer’s phones based on their locations.
