Now for some stuff that would surely make us Indians proud. If you are a regular iOS user, I am sure you might have come across a a popular app called “Pulse” at least once? Well, no worries if you haven’t. We are here to explain! Basically, Pulse aggregates content from various (selected) online sources and presents them to you in a away that would make most people compelled to read. They make use of various mosaics to make the normally “white” content a lot more interesting and engaging to read.
Now, the developers of Pulse are two Indian students who are an alumni of Stanford. They have formed a company called Alphonso Labs (Mangoes!) which makes iOS apps. Their Pulse app had recently made it to the elite club of iOS applications that have gained entry into an App Hall of Fame.
This app used to cost $.99 – until yesterday. In a bog post on the company blog, Alphonse Labs has announced that the App would be a free download starting today! Now, if you had in the past reconsidered your decision to download the app because it is paid, it’s probably time to reverse that decision?
