One of the most popular apps on the App Store, Facebook for iPhone and iPod Touch received a much required update treatment recently. The version number received a bump to v.3.3.3. If you were however looking forward to playing with a bunch of new features with the app, prepare to be disappointed. This version does not add any more features and just fixes some annoying bugs.
The official changelog has confirmed the following bug fixes and improvements:
- Improved reliability in chat and messages
- Improved notifications UI
- Fixed memory usage
- Fixed some crashes
- Walls you cannot post on no longer show the text field at the top
- Restore ability to post as a page that you admin – Fixed group photos
- Various Places improvements
As the norm is, you can head to the App Store to download this new version. You might also want to let us know if there are any lesser noticeable improvements to the app.
