We have heard numerous reports / rumors on Apple’s plan to ditch AT&T exclusivity and offer the iPhone for other carriers in US. The CDMA iPhone rumors has several twists, right from a Qualcomm chip that would allow GSM / CDMA iPhone to a CDMA version of iPhone 4 that would run on Verizon. The rumors have been rather intense off late and everyone is expecting an iPhone 4 version for Verizon in Q1. And here comes the latest bit from BGR. They claim that Apple has blocked employee vacations between 3rd – 6th Feb and these four days (Thursdays – Sunday) is when the new iPhone 4 wold go on sale. Quite likely again because Verizon normally makes its big announcements on Thursdays. BGR seems to have done its homework on the dates and all we can do is wait and watch for a launch!
