Macrumors and Engadget reported that iPad 2 has got a backlight bleeding defect. The defect is not noticeable when you are using the iPad 2 but appears heavily when a dark background comes while watching a video. It can be very well noticed during a black screen at the time of launching applications. Engadget suggests that we shouldn’t confuse ourselves with the yellow tint issue. The problem is in the outer edges of the LCD panel and it can be rectified or minimized by customizing brightness under settings.
