According to an Appleinsider report, iPhone 5 is scheduled for the launch of June/July. Apple doesn’t want to give a clue to its customers who are waiting for the refreshed version as it will prevent the fall of in demand, especially given the launch of CDMA iPhone 4 in February.
There is no solid confirmation or hint that Apple has delayed the autumn release or the launch will surely happen this summer. Only idea we have for now is the continuous supply of the iPhone 4 that makes a question of the delayed launch.
The interesting part is that the suppliers may help Apple after the disaster in Japan to support at the expense of competitors. A recent DigiTimes report suggested that Apple has agreed to absorb the increase in production cost faced by Japanese component suppliers.
Some believes that unlike Tablets, Apple is loosing the grip on smartphone market and cannot afford a delay of a new device. What do you think about it ? Let’s know in the comment section.
