Samsung is all set to unveil the successor to its most popular Android handset Galaxy S in Delhi tomorrow. The SGS2 is currently rated as the top Android phone around and for once an Android phone is the hottest thing in town. Super debates on twitter over the pricing of Samsung Galaxy S II and availability is underway. We have got confirmations (unofficially though) that the Galaxy S2 would cost Rs 33500 in India. But the Galaxy S2 coming to India is not the only news, as we reported before, Apple is also gearing up to get the iPhone 4 in India this week.
Airtel and Aircel are all set to unveil Factory unlocked iPhone 4’s in India. The same is expected to go on sale this friday (27th May). And here’s the funny part, our sources say that the iPhone 4 press announcement might well come up tomorrow itself. Samsung and Apple going head-to-head. While the iPhone 4s / 5 talks go on, we know that the iPhone 4 is arriving in India almost a year after its international debut, this gives Samsung a year old hardware and software version (iOS 4.x) to compete with.
Given that the iPhone 4 would being at Rs 34990 (rumored), the pricing of these two phones aren’t too far apart. The choice would be tough to make!
