Prior to any notice, when paypal users downloaded Mac OS X Lion from Mac App Store, similar to rest of the world, they have been charged near about $4000 for a $29.99 purchase. When people come to know about the deduction history in their account, they instantly reported to Apple.
According to Apple, they have not charged anyone extra for $29.99 Mac OS X Lion. Their purchase history shows that user has purchased only one copy. However, Paypal claims that the problem occurred due to Apple policies itself. Both companies are constantly blaming each other on the overcharge issue. There has been no confirmation on any refund from Apple yet. This issue raised from the official Apple Forums where several people complained about an overcharge problems after Mac OS X Lion purchase. Though, only paypal users are reporting about this problem so far.
