A report from WSJ claims that Apple is all set to add one more carrier network in its list to distribute iPhone 5. This carrier network could be none other than ‘Sprint’. Few months ago, Apple came up with an idea to launch a CDMA version of iPhone 4 to support Verizon which is one of the largest carrier network in USA. Due to the fact that Sprint is also a CDMA based network, so the iPhone 5 could be launched with the support. Whereas, another sources from Mactrast, who wants to remain anonymous said that a T-Mobile USA version could also be expected in mid-october. Interestingly, iPhone 4 supports T-Mobile carrier ‘2G’ network but gives certain problem with Visual Voicemail.
According to the source, iPhone 5 would operate on 3G speeds of T-Mobile. After the official announcement, current iPhone and iPhone 5 would make a financial difference for T-Mobile. Recently, T-Mobile has also started selling micro-sims through its retail stores which left us in doubts that something was in works. iPhone 5 is expected to be launched in September along with a low cost version. However, the availability is rumored to be in October itself. Next generation iPhone could have a high megapixel camera, revamped design, bigger display and a new antenna.
