As we already know, DevTeam is constantly trying to improve the functionality in Redsn0w and to make the tool more handy. They have again come up with yet another version of Redsn0w, that is, Redsn0w 0.9.9b7. This update of Redsn0w offers tremendous improvement in terms of the time required to jailbreak device on iOS 5.
The time has been reduced to 80 seconds from 210 seconds which ultimately makes it 60 percent more faster from the previous version. Now, it doesn’t stash all the those applications in cydia when you run the Redsn0w. However, it all depends on your choice. You can still change the settings from the preference pane for ‘stashing’ the applications at the time of JailBreak. Though you can always install application when you open cydia for the first time.
Note: The JailBreak for iOS 5 remains tethered except for the old bootrom iPhone 3GS.
