A native Gmail application for iPhone is now a reality. It was rumored that Google has submitted the Gmail application and it would be live on App Store anytime. Finally, it has arrived with many more integrated features. Unlike the mobile browser optimized application, it has all the functionality of a desktop version.
We have downloaded the application on our iPad and found out that it is quite similar to the optimized Facebook application. On the left hand side, the menu is displayed which has options such as Inbox, Labels and More. In inbox, we have important and everything. Labels include drafts, deleted messages, notes, personal, sent messages and travel. In the more section, we have all mail, chats, trash, spam, receipts, work.
You can even search and compose mails anytime from the top menu bar which remain visible to you every time. Once you click on compose, a new dialog box comes on the screen which is specifically targeted for this purpose. You can download official Gmail application for iPhone, iPod touch or iPad from here. Let’s know what do you think about it.
[update]: The application has been pulled from App Store due to notification error. It will be back soon. Stay tuned!
