We had earlier reported that iPhone 4S in India would land soon. But there were confusion between the launch dates. Some people reported November 24 and other told November 25. Finally, we have an official date for the launch of iPhone 4S which is November 25. Aircel has informed to their customers through an image posted on their Facebook fan page. They would also take pre-orders which would start from November 18.
Till now, there is no confirmation on the prices nor anything has been revealed on plans. We are still not sure whether it would be a sim-free device or it would be bounded with carriers. Though, there’s no announcement from second carrier network, Airtel yet. In the coming days, as soon as we would reach nearer to November 25, things would become more clear. These pre-orders would start 7 days before the launch. So if you are interested to grab the device first, you can pre-order it from Aircel site.
We will let you know once the more information about the plans and prices will come in. Since Apple is selling iPhone 4S at a really high price point in US, we are not expecting it to cost not less than Rs 40,000 for 16 GB model. Needless to say, iPhone 4 16 & 32 GB will be discontinued. Instead, we would have an iPhone 4 of storage capacity of 8GB which could cost around Rs 30,000/-. What do you think about it?
