Despite the fact that we have Absinthe for Mac which is a tool based on Graphical User Interface, DevTeam has come up with a Command Line Interface for Mac which would help you to debug many errors. Here, you have to enter several commands on Terminal and your iPhone 4S & iPad 2 would be JailBroken. We won’t advise you to follow until you are having issues in JailBreaking using Absinthe. 
The reason being is Graphical user interface of Absinthe which works on a click of a button. Anyways, here is the guide which you can follow to JailBreak your iPhone 4S & iPad 2 using CLI on Mac OS X:
1) Download CLI from this link. Open Terminal, connect your device with the Macbook or iMac.
2) Type this command % cinject -s to know if the device is recognized or not.
3) Navigate to the path where you had downloaded .zip file. Now, type % cinject -d to open all of the folders.
4) Then % cinject -v -2 -H which would display ‘Hiding media….’ and some other files and folders.
5) Again, enter the command % cinject -d to get the ‘corona’ folder.
6) Now type %cinject -v 2 -U for the execution of others.
7) This time type “% cinject -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig”. This step is to unlock the device and approve the install request for further execution.
8) Enter “% cinject -j payloads”. At this time all the JailBreaking data would be pushed to your device from the backup.
9) If you want to see the system.log, use this command: % cinject -w
10) Enjoy the Absinthe icon installed on your springboard.
