You may predict pretty well about the technical specifications of the next generation iPad. But do you have any idea about its nomenclature? Since the launch of iPhone 4S, where Apple didn’t bring much changes into the design, it is expected that Apple would do the same with the next generation iPad and could call it ‘iPad HD’. A listing has been appeared from the case manufactures such as Belkin and Greffin, according to which the upcoming iPad could have been named ‘iPad HD’. However, Apple never reveals any information of its future products to parts manufacturers until the last minute. Perhaps, when few days are left for the Special event in San Francisco, the probability of being accurate here is certainly more.
Also, a reader has informed Gizmodo that a device called ‘iPad HD’ has been spotted by the Google analytics, starting from April 2011. Undoubtedly, the name of any device can be altered with the help of Google chrome and Firefox. This data also lists 2048 x 1536 resolution of the device which accessed the site during the same interval. On the contrary, it could be any other device like a PC or Mac.
If we simply look at the image attached with the invite, you would realize that the image shows a finger touching the screen of iPad. Interestingly, the display looks even more refined and appealing than current generation iPad. It clearly hints towards the fact that the next generation iPad could have a Retina Display or something twice the resolution of iPad 2 and ‘iPad HD’ completely fulfills the criteria.
Have you experienced the same in your Google analytics? Let’s know in the comment section.
