Truth to be told, when Apple released iPhone 4S last year, many people didn’t feel the need to upgrade due to no difference in the form factor. However, those people who needed an iPhone with a better camera, faster processor and a voice assistant called Siri upgraded from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S. On Bloomberg, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster told that the next iPhone or iPhone 5 would be the mother of ‘all hardware upgrades’.
Undoubtedly, Apple has a record to make products with the top-notch hardware available in the market. Sometimes, they start a trend which is being followed by other mobile players. According to Piper, the next iPhone would bring tremendous change in the hardware which includes a bigger screen, a tad different form factor, LTE capability and speed. Also, he says that there would be lines around shopping malls to buy the next iPhone, but it would happen a little later than people had actually hoped.
Considering that it would be the first phone to be launched in the market after Steve Jobs, people might want to know about its success. But it seems that the team at Apple still has the culture of the company intact. So, it would be great to see what Apple has planned for us in iPhone 5. Nevertheless, Apple is yet to announce the dates for WWDC 2012 which is expected to happen in June/July interval.
