As we had already reported earlier Apple seems set to debut its own Maps App in the upcoming iOS 6. BGR claims to have received some exclusive pictures and information regarding the Google Maps substitute currently doing service in iDevices. The App will have an all new User Interface(UI), complete 3D mapping and also a redesigned navigation bar. As per reports Apple will be implementing new color theme on iPhones; it will be using Silver instead of the current blue color scheme.
For the 3D rendering Apple will be using technology it acquired by C3 technology. Moreover the app will have many similarities with Google App on Android and will be sporting a Locate button on the bottom left corner.
BGR also posted a mock-up picture of how the app will look and believes it’s quite close to how the real app will look. Apple is currently polishing the app for the final release.
