Apple has finally launched its next major operating system, Mountain Lion on Mac App Store. It’s available at a price point of $19.99 in the form of an OTA upgrade. Existing Mac OS X Lion users can directly go to Mac App Store for the download. If you face any server error issues, it could be due to Apple servers being bombarded with the traffic. However, you shouldn’t lose hope and continuously give it a try.
Mac OS X Mountain Lion has 200 new features. Most of them have been taken away from iOS and ported to Mac OS X. The Mountain Lion OTA upgrade is of 4.05 GB. If you have purchased a Mac after June 11, you could download it for free. Rest of the users need to purchase the operating system from Mac App Store. Some of the features include Notification Center, iMessages, Reminders, Notes, Gatekeeper, Voice dictation etc.
