According to Jim Dalrymple of The Loop, Apple might hold two events to unveil its next generation products including the rumored iPad mini. This would fit in Apple’s previous year schedule where the company had hold three events barring WWDC. First one for the iPad 2, second for iPhone 4S, and third one for the refresh of iPod lineup. However, unlike previous year, we might see one addition into the iPod lineup which would be called as iPad mini.
Although plenty of sources have confirmed that Apple is all set to showcase next iPhone in a September 12 event, it’s expected that another event would happen sometime in October that would help Apple to introduce iPod/iPod touch refresh alongside the smaller tablet. Previously, it was assumed that Apple could unveil the iPad mini beside next generation iPhone, but it seems that cupertino-based company would likely to add it up in iPod line up rather than a whole new category.
iPhone 5 might include 4G LTE, a new dock connector, quad core processor, 4 inch screen, a revamped design and several other noticeable features. On the other hand, iPad mini could use the same resolution of display as that of first generation iPad. Nevertheless, Apple could surprise us and release iPad mini on September 12 event itself. Who knows?
