Yesterday, Apple seeded iOS 6.1.1 specifically for iPhone 4S to overcome with carrier related issues. This update didn’t seem to kill any exploits which iOS hackers have been using to JailBreak iPhone, iPod touch or iPad on iOS 6.1. Due to which they have updated the JailBreak tool called evasi0n to version 1.3 that allows you to remain JailBroken even if you have updated your iPhone 4S on iOS 6.1.1.
On the other hand, iOS 6.1.1 remains to be seen in beta and it’s expected that Apple would release it in the form of iOS 6.1.2 or something. Of course, at the end of day, they have to close the loophole in the form of security threats to iOS devices. Previous version of evasi0n disabled OTA update on any iOS device to keep bugging you if you are JailBroken.
You can download evasi0n 1.3 from the links below. Also, it’s advised that you save SHSH Blobs of your iPhone 4S right now which would help you to restore to earlier iOS versions. Let’s know what do you think in comment section below.
