Japanese Apple blog MacOtakara claims that Foxconn started to ramp up production of Apple’s next iPhone, the iPhone 5S. MacOtakara are generally quite accurate with their claims previously as well when they reported news about iPod touch and iPod nanos. Rumours suggest that iPhone 5S will be launched this fall in August, so a possible date of March for production to begin seems to be quite genuine and true for the timelines to match. Moreover previous leaks suggest that iPhone 5S will retain iPhone 5’s shell but with change in internals, which makes manufacturing iPhone 5S even easier when the process is well set for iPhone 5.
iPhone 5S is rumoured to show a bump in processor and RAM in the phone along with a major change in camera, Apple has been concentrating a lot on pushing its devices as replacement for point and shoot camera lately. Some rumours even suggest that Apple might include a finger print scanner in place of home button to improve the device security.
MacOtakara also claimed that Japan’s number one cellular provider NTT DoCoMo, which is not yet an Apple partner carrier might very well partner up with Apple this time to push iPhone. To support its claim MacOtakara says that DoCoMo has recently cut down its orders for Android handsets by a huge number.
