Teachers in Paul Elementary School say that iPad gives ownership of learning to the students and fosters genuine self driven excitement, the students are more excited to learn and who what they know to others. With the introduction of iPads the kids are now being more creative in the school, noted one of their teachers.
Principal Colleen said that iPad is reaffirming to improve the education provided to students and the way teachers teach to the students as well
“When [students] own their learning, the ability to increase scores and understanding rises dramatically,” she said. “With this deployment, with technology, students are excited about learning. They’re not sitting in a classroom where one student is raising their hand and answering one at a time. They are actively participating in every single part of the lesson.”
iPad not only has improved the quality of interaction and education but also saving lot of money in printed resources. Right now the schools seems to be saving around 20,000 printed sheets every month after the introduction of iPads. Even the weekly assignments and other handouts are being pushed through iPads itself.
Apple has been successfully creating change in education sector and leads by miles against competitors products being used for the same.
