Apple’s iPhone might not have a huge market adoption rate, it might not be praised by all, it might not have the specs to boast about but when it comes to usability and making their customers happy the iPhone sure does lead the pack and by a good factor! J. D. Power and Associates has rated iPhone as the best device with highest customer satisfaction for 9th time in a row which is a feat that no other company or smartphone could achieve. The average of the customer satisfaction rating has increased to 796 on a scale of 1000 which is 22 points higher than in 2012. Apple’s iPhone has scored an amazing score of 855 on a scale of 1000.
The other leaders in the customer satisfaction index are Nokia and Samsung with scores of 795 and 793 respectively followed by Motorola with 792 and HTC with 790, all below average sadly. It clearly shows that users are not happy with Andorid as they are with iOS, the customer satisfaction scores for all the smartphones apart from Apple iPhone seems to be below the average score surprisingly.
J. D. Power and Associates say that as capabilities of wireless phones and their applications continue to expand and as customers grow more reliant on their devices, manufactures have an opportunity to further shape the customer experience.
