The fate of various analysts prediction and Apple’s stock performance for the coming months will be decided on April 23rd when Apple will reveal various number for Q2 2013. Apple will be giving out all the sales figures of its products over the quarter, the amount of revenue generated from each of these product categories and also the profit earned. The quarter ending with March is the second financial quarter for the companies in the US and Apple is expected to miss its self set targets for the first time over the years. Apple’s stock has declined by 33% over the past few months showing severe disappointment from various analysts due to non-performance to expected standards.
Apple CEO Tim Cook and CFO Peter Oppenheimer will likely be on the line to explain the results and offer a forecast for the next quarter. During the last quarter Apple posted a profit of over $13.1 billion and a total revenue of $54.1 billion which is still way better than other tech giants. But sadly expectations from Apple has been growing at an exponential rate and Analysts are expecting Apple to post an exponential rise in profits generated, which is not happening at the moment.
