Since, the arrival of App Store Apple has paid out over $25 billion to app developers. Although, Apple hasn’t disclosed the revenue generated by the app store, experts estimate it at around $4-5 Billion.

Recently, Apple was criticized for outsourcing the manufacturing of its products to China and robbing Americans of employment. To counter that, Apple has released a statement that it had created almost 1.03 billion jobs in America. According to the report, applications designed for Apple’s smartphones and tablets have helped create more than 627,000 U.S. jobs. 334,000 jobs were created from its spending and growth, and 66,000 people work directly for the company in the U.S.
Apple looks out for the developer community by developing new categories and innovating to open avenues for further app developments. Apple is already fueling demand  by introducing new categories for home and health management. It has also opened up the opportunity to install alternatives to Apple’s built-in keyboard for the first time.
