There a lot of rumours suggesting that Apple is working on an electric car and they plan to start its production by the year 2020. And now there is news of a lawsuit being filed against the Cupertino based electronic giant for trying to poach employees of a company that manufactures electric batteries. If you try to connect the two then it is more than obvious as to why the Apple is doing so.
It seems that Apple is working on the electric car so that they are not over dependent on their smartphones, tablets and laptops. Infact, they have been criticised for having just the iPhone as their main source of revenue. So if they just bank on one product and it ever fails then it will be a big problem for the company. After all we know how Nokia from being the number one smartphone seller in 2007 is now no longer a profit making company. In some way when Samsung is facing the problem of their smartphone sales falling. But they have way too many other line ups of devices such as washing machines, fridges, microwaves, etc., so the company as a whole need not worry as much.
After the iPad, Apple finally released a new product after almost four years in the form of the Apple Watch. The Watch is yet to hit the market but there is a lot of buzz around it. It will come in three variants which are the Apple Watch Sports, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition and the Edition which has a 18-Karat gold casing may cost as much as four thousand dollars. So now one can only imagine as to how costly their car will be? But we are sure that ardent Apple fans will not hesitate in to buy it.
