Apple Watch Gets It's First OS Update

After the launch of Apple Watch, Apple brings to it, it’s first update. This is the company’s first Apple’s smart watch and also the first product released since the death of Steve Jobs.
This watch is way ahead from the first smart watch in the market and this is the the first company to nail the concept.

The watch along with health- oriented capabilities incorporates fitness tracking. The watch is an integration of the iOS and other Apple products and services. The device is sold in three different collections which are Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition. The watches are distinguished by different combinations and interchangeable bands. The watch relies on an iPhone to perform default functions like calling or texting. It is compatible with the iPhone 5 and the models developed later (running on iOS 8.2)
Now, the Apple Watch rolls out its first software update bringing the Watch OS’s version to version 1.0.1. This update is mainly designed for regular bug fixes along with performance improvements. This update adds a display support for the new Emoji characters and is added to both the iOS and the OS X.
The improved performance includes siri, measuring stand activity along with calculating calories for indoor cycling and rowing workouts. The update also worked upon its accessibility and third party applications.
Along with the Emoji characters the update also added it’s language support. The software now supports 7 languages which includes: Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Thai and Turkish.
For getting the new software on the Watch, users can follow the process given by Apple:

  1. Connect the Watch to the Wi-Fi with at least 50% battery.
  2. Open the Apple Watch app and then navigate to the My Watch tab.
  3. Tap into the General and Software Update.
  4. Type in the iPhone or Apple Watch passcode if asked.
  5. Wait for the Apple logo progress indicator to appear.
  6. Wait till the logo will complete itself. The device will restart itself.
