Apple updated its mobile application Worldwide Developers Conference and similar to the previous year, the application will provide attendees the access to information on upcoming sessions, venue maps, news along with videos. The news this time given by Apple is that this update is for the mobile application and is also for the Apple Watch.
The icon instead of orange will now be supporting a purple application icon and theme. People attending the event will be able to add their pass to the Passbook for faster check-in and those who won’t be there will be able to follow along with the help of the video streaming application. The videos have an option to get downloaded along with the option of later viewing which can also be stopped on one device and later picked up by another. Currently the application features from previous years which will change when WWDC 2015 is active.
One of the most notable features is that the application is now extended to the Apple Watch. The Watch with the help of ‘Glance’ now can be let users see details about various events as well as know where they are supposed to be going next.
The Apple engineers along with a number of hands-on labs will be featuring over 100 technical sessions at the Apple’s 26th annual WWDC this year.
People are expecting to see the new versions of the iOS and the OS X operating system along with the Apple’s music streaming service. There are rumors that there might be the new Apple TV with various other things.
With the release of the WWDC application, Apple will today began sending out media invites to journalists attending the event.
