The next iPhone models dubbed to be ‘iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus’ is expected to be in the market later this year. The new model which is to be released is rumored to feature flash with 240fps capability in the front-facing camera.
The Cupertino-based company is expected to upgrade the front camera on the next version. A developer noticed certain code strings in iOS 9 which indicated changes in the specifications on the front camera. The strings further indicated that the iPhone will be able to feature panorama facility on the front camera, which will be the first model to feature that as panorama is available only in the rear cameras.
The new model with iOS 9 as its software platform will sport a FaceTime camera which can record 1080p videos. The additional feature is that the camera could do real-time multi-tasking-it could capture 240fps slow-motion 720p videos and simultaneously could support recording of 1080p videos.
Other features that Hazma Sood, a developer, has spotted are already available on the rear camera of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. He also noted that the code strings might suggest that the model might include a flash with the FaceTime camera. This can be believed to some extent, as Sood who claimed to have seen the code strings of fingerprint sensors in iPhone 5s models in 2013, was correct.
In addition to those certain reports claim that the next models will sport a 12MP rear camera rather than the 8MP camera and couple reports have reported of major upgrade in the camera sector. Sources reported of possible launches of iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6c in 2015 and also stated that the first two models will be a lot slimmer with 12MP cameras and Force Touch displays.
The date of launch of iPhone 6s was leaked through an email of Vodafone-UK and the date was quoted as 18 September, 2015 for pre-orders and 25 September for retail distribution among the first wave of countries. So, make a reminder on these days to grab the latest model.
