We knew that this had to arrive. iOS 5 Beta JailBreak has already confirmed the possibilities of some add on widgets in iOS 5 beside those include by Apple. Will Homer showed us ‘Hello world’ as an example that implementation of widgets is actually possible. The first notification center widget known as ‘UI settings’ to be available via cydia in the near future. It uses the concept of SB settings implemented in the form of a widget on notification center. SB settings provides you instant access to those controls which are used frequently such as tuning on Wifi, brightness, airplane mode etc.

The widget has been developed by qwertyoruiop which will be available as an update to UI settings. Through USB settings, you had to swipe from left to right to bring the controls from the top. In this widgets, you will need to swipe from top to down to bring your notification center and customize things according to your needs. However, the customization options will appear in the multitasking bar respectively. UI settings lets you quickly Respring or toggle Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, Bluetooth, Brightness, etc.
