Few days back, DevTeam released the iOS 5 JailBreak for developers who could JailBreak iOS 5 Beta 1 on their Mac. The Windows version of Redsn0w is now available for download that will allow you to Jailbreak your iDevices on another platform. Though, it wouldn’t benefit most of the users because Apple iOS 5 SDK works and meant only for Mac OS X device. Since iTunes 10.5 and iCloud developers, it was necessary to release the exact same version for Windows.
Those who are not aware that the latest version of Redsn0w is only meant for iOS developer and a normal user shouldn’t download it. It uses the limera1n exploit in addition to the tether JailBreak which means that you need to connect to the PC/Mac, every time you reboot your iDevice. If you find a white icon of cydia and safari, it means that you didn’t boot tethered. You are requested not to pirate the developer version of iOS 5 as it requires a registered UDID from Apple.
