The prices of Apple TV at both Amazon and Best Buy have dropped to $89.99, which is $10 lesser than Apple’s standard retail price. Add to it the fact that Amazon has added a “2010” label next to the product description, which has fuelled rumors that Apple might be getting ready to launch the next edition of the small entertainment box.
The new Apple TV rumors were already doing the rounds a few months back which indicated that Apple might be building a new Apple TV that would have features like support for full 1080p HD video output, iCloud connectivity and 16GB of storage. It’s also rumored to have the new A5 processor as well.
Though, we are sure that the new Apple TV is not the one that is rumored to have Siri integrated into it. We believe that version will be launched sometime in the next year.
There is no indication as to when would Apple be unveiling their latest version of the Apple TV, though it definitely makes sense to launch one right during the start of the holidays.
Well, we will keep our eyes and ears open for any news on the same and update you as soon as we hear anything on it. 🙂
