Absinthe For Mac Was Downloaded One Million Times On January 20th

According to a report of CultOfMac, JailBreakers have downloaded Absinthe one million times, a popular JailBreak tool for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 on January 20th. The news originally came from Joshua Hill (@P0sixninja) who worked with other members of the dream team like MuscleNerd, Pod2G, Planetbeing and Saurik. It seems that many people in this world are desperate to surpass all those Apple restrictions and modify their devices. Surprisingly, these downloads includes only Mac release. Apparently, when you are bored of the usual look of your iOS device, you tend to JailBreak to give it an entirely different look. Over the past few years, Cydia has become an enriched  hub of illegal stuff such as tweaks, themes and unapproved applications from the App Store. If you are not satisfied with the way Apple has end to end control over the device, you can go ahead and modify your iDevices. However, sometimes, these tweaks and  themes messes up with the system files.

Thereby, leading you to restore your iPhone or iPad. So, it is advised to have minimal no. of tweaks or themes from the well known developers in the hacking community to avoid any issues in the future.  Let’s know what do you think about it in the comment section. Have you JailBroken your iPhone 4S and iPad 2 yet?
