Apple assured to capture 84% share in corporate market with the New iPad

A new survey indicates that the corporate interest in buying the new iPad (also referred as iPad3) has reached a new level with 84 percent of companies planning to buy the Apple product in the second quarter of 2012.

According to the survey conducted by the ChangeWave Research last month, 22 percent of the 1,604 IT business buyers that were surveyed said that they will be buying the tablet computers for their employees in the Q2 of this year, suggests a report by the Silicon Republic.

The survey concludes that the demand for the iPad has seen a rise of 7 percent, as the last estimated share in November 2011 was concluded at 77 percent, which was a dip of 3 percent from estimated 80 percent share in May & August 2011.

Reports also suggest that the recent launch of the New iPad will also have an impact on the sale of tablets from its competitors in the market. Other tablet manufacturers have seen an across-the-board decline in terms of corporate interest in the next quarter.

A comparative study points out that the amongst the Apple’s competitors, Samsung has seen a decline in the purchase intent from 10% to 8%. Other competitors like Amazon, HP, and Asus have seen a decline from 7% to 6%, 5% to 4%, and 4% to 3% respectively.

Earlier in January at a quarterly earnings conference call, Apple’s CFO Peter Oppenheimer had said that iPad’s adoption in business has been ‘unprecedented’. During the same conference it was indicated that, iPads are being actively used by almost all of the top Fortune 500 companies.

With an overwhelming positive response to the Apple’s third generation iPads, the pre-orders for which have already sold out, it seems the New iPad will continue the trend of hit devices from Apple’s stable.
