Upcoming iPhone Icon Leaked in SDK, Minimal External Changes?

A tiny hint of how the iPhone 3G would look was leaked last time, with the help of an icon found in the SDK corresponding to the model iPhone 1,2. This icon is the exact same used by iTunes to indicate your device when connected.

This time, Apple seems to have repeated the same thing. The new iPhone SDK Beta 5 also sports and icon like the last time. The icon name corresponds to iPhone 2,1 and iPhone 2,1_White which is supposedly the upcoming iPhone model (as seen before by us).

Though, these icons are quite small, but are enough to indicate any significant changes. Sadly, after having a look at the new icons, it seems to be exactly the same as the icon for iPhone 3G! This might mean that there will be minimal changes in design in the upcoming iPhone, expected this WWDC. It could also mean that Apple is just using the current icons as placeholders to keep the upcoming design secret. Either of the two, we do not get to know anything new.

These icons can be easily located at /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/Library/ PrivateFrameworks/DTDeviceKit.framework/Versions/A/Resources

If you have the latest SDK revision.
