The much rumored Apple event on September 9 “Lets Rock” unveiled two new iPods and new colours for the iPod shuffle. Steve Jobs announced the all new iPod Touch with a sleeker look anb reduced price to counter the iPhone 3G! Also an updated firmware and new features;
1. The New iPod Touch 2G inbuilt Speakers
2. Addition of physical volume control buttons
3. Thinner than ever with curved Stainless Steel back
4. Improved battery life
5. Apple is about to release a new firmware 2.1 which would be compatible with iPod Touch (2G iPod Touch featured Firmware V2.x; instead of being a paid upgrade for the iPod Touch 1G)
Apple also introduced a new iPod Genius feature for the Touch that creates playlists automatically by grouping together similar songs! More on the Apple Genius here
