iPhone 3G demand dropping in the US?

iPhone 3G with the magical pricing of $199 lead to sever stock issues at all Apple Stores and AT&T outlets. But since then the demand for the iPhone seems to be dropping.

Plagued by several bugs and reception issues (add to that the MobileME issue), Apple Insider reports that only 10% of the AT&T stores are out of stock and RIM blackberry is being suggested to potential buyers over iPhone! Media played a big role in pushing iPhone to people and once the reception issue broke out, there seems to be a interruption in demand for Apple.

But isn’t it too early to gauge the demand of the iPhone? Lets talk over Apple’s earnings call next quarter!
