Sb settings app is a bossprefs replacement app for your jailbroken iPhone. In a way its actually better than bossprefs as its not exactly an app. This makes the functioning of the iPhone faster all it requires you (to launch) is swipe the status bar as you do on the lockscreen. Now for all you people who dont know what statusbar is, its the top line of your iPhones screen which shows the network, wifi,battery, clock etc. You can quickly switch on/off the toggles in it.
Some default toggles include brightness, phone (airplane mode) and wifi. However there are many toggles available for sbsettings now like vibrate,keep awake and lock-screen. To open SbSettings you just have to swipe your fingers across the statusbar and you will see a menu poping up from the top which will include all the toggles (default and installed), so you can quickly enable or disable them (green is enable and red is disable).To quit the app just press the ‘x’ button at the extreme left hand side or you can also press the home button. You also have the option to have a customized theme for sbsettings. There are many available through cydia.
But thats not it. It has many other features below like ‘refresh’ which refreshes the menu,’ dock’ which enables you to add your apps to it (appstore or cydia). The More tab brings you to another menu in which you can set the toggles for sbseetings and also the dock applications for the dock. It also has poof app from where you can hide and unhide your apps. The extra tab includes option to fix permission , enable/disable numeric battery and app kill switch. The manage theme tab allows you to select your theme for sbsettings.
The respring tab at the bottom allows you to respring your iPhone. The power tab includes options to reboot, lock, power off your iPhone. It also includes safe mode which makes your iPhone run in safe mode.
Overall I’m very much impressed with the app and its functioning. However the app only works where you can see the statusbar. So it doesnt work for some of the appstore apps specially games. But all in all its a great app and a perfect replacement for the bossprefs. I hope to see better features added to the app in the next upgrade.

i just got a 2nd hand i phone,have had for 2 days..i have a pre paid accnt in bangkok and i keep getting mssgs saying my credit is insufficent even when im ot doing anything..the guy at the istore told me to dwnload sbsettings and boss preff to fix this..but im still having probs.. can any one help? pleeeease
My favorite is BossPref on the iPhone. Then the SBSettings on my iPhone FW 3.1.2 don’t work.
