So far we’ve heard that iOS 4.0GM was jailbroken on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS only but today iH8Sn0w, creator of sn0wbreeze has successfully jailbroked iPod touch 2G running iOS 4.0GM. iH8sn0w updated about this on twitter. He also uploaded a picture and a video of iPod 2G running cydia. In a demo video he showed iPod 2G doing Multitasking, isn’t that great? Apple said that multitasking feature is only supported on iPodTouch 3G, iPhone 3GS (and ofcourse iPhone 4) whereas on iPodTouch2G and on iPhone 3G, multitasking feature will not work, but all thanks to iH8sn0w he made native multitaskng possible on iTouch 2G. Since hardware of iPodTouch2G an iPhone 3G is almost same, so multitasking should also work on iPhone 3G. He also said that Springboard Background wallpapers can also be set in the iPod2G.
