In Nov 2008 the number of mobile gamers has risen to 8.5 million worldwide. And smartphones are driving the growth. We have already seen some amazing games for the iPhone. The iPhone SDK allows developers to use the 3D engine with accelerometer and touch gestures to create some great games.
Till date the MotoRazr being a mass low end phone ruled the numbers with the maximum mobile gaming marketshare. However, now the Blaclberry curve and iPhone have overtaken the Razr. Previously the razr had ruled the Mobile Internet market and the overall sales aswell, owing to its FREE price tag.
We sincerely believe that someday Apple iPhone and the iPod touch will reach that level when it would be seen as a Gaming device (apart from the PMP and Phone).
