Samsung is dominating the mobile market with no 2 position globally, but its own homeland Korea is cheering the 3GS with KT Corporation reporting that they have seen around 60-65k units being pre-ordered in the first week itself. A modest price of $349 with $39 on a monthly contract supports the iPhone hype in Korea.
Apple managed to create a pretty much global demand for the iPhone with over 70 countries in its radar, but meeting the demand with the most popular iPhone i.e. 3GS is proving to be difficult and pricing in some Asian countries like China, India and even Russia was too high. Samsung Corbys and Nokia rule with affordable tech, that’s another story though. We genuinely hope that the quality audience gets the quality product soon!
