The wait for the imaginary Apple tablet is been getting interesting day by day with specification guesses, sales estimates and debates on usability flying all around the web. Insider quotes have been that Steve Jobs has put all his time in building this tablet and is pleased with how the Apple tablet has finally turned out. The excitement upto the 26th Jan Apple event (which for now is only rumored) has crossed all limits. With the hype, and hungama surrounding the tablet scene off late the latest that we hear is a Google – HTC joint effort to built a Chrome OS tablet. Again nothing official here, but if rumors are to be believed the Google tablet is in making since 18 months and is on its way along with other ChromeOS compatible netbooks.
While we wait to see how Cupertino changes touch computers for us, we are pretty sure on how the Google tablet will work. Having seen what Chrome OS has to offer and the CrunchPad concept of booting straight into a web browser in a tablet by TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington makes it pretty clear as to what Google tablet can be.
But the Apple iSlate? Not much nothing is known about this, and a LOT is rumored. Would it be a Kindle killer? A revolutionary interface for magazines and newspaper? Will it have a 3G connection? Video calling? 7″ screen or 10″ screen? USP?
