This application is the first of its kind to hit the AppStore, which has one job to do, and that is to spy. “Security Cam”, the recently released iPhone application went through a huge amount of trouble with apple’s review process as it spent over a year in judgment.
Released earlier this week, there was a huge controversy over this application, whether or not it should be allowed into the AppStore. For quite a shock, Apple has accepted the application. This application poses a huge threat towards the individual’s right of privacy, as through this application, iPhone users will try to spy on various people.
What does this application do? It’s pretty simple. Security Cam currently offers two spying methods, either by taking photos based on a time interval, or by using the iPhone’s microphone as by taking a photo when sound is detected. Moreover, these two features could be used simultaneously as by taking a photo every now and then and upon the detection of sound. Another feature packed in this application, is to reduce battery consumption, that is through allowing the iPhone to sleep after a certain period of time, while keeping the application on high alert.
Selling for $0.99 US Dollars, this application will become one of the most downloaded in the AppStore, as it is in humans nature to know what is going on behind their backs, whether the wife is cheating, or the maid is stealing, this application can sure come in handy if used properly and not caught.
