Steve Jobs almost killed rumors of cracks between AT&T and Apple relationship by announcing the $29 unlimited data plan for the iPad 3G with its same old iPhone carrier. If that wasn’t enough to jeopardize rumors of Apple ending AT&T’s exclusivity for the iPhone, here is something interesting. Just as the iPad 3G goes on sale hungry reviewers have put the AT&T connection to test and whoa, here’s a surprise – it does fantastic. Apparently the guyz over at Know Your Cell were able to extract as much as 30GB of data transfer in just 2 days! Thats truly unlimited data on the iPad 3G.
If I can hit 100GB without being shut off by AT&T, I think it will be safe to say that users can consider the $29.99 iPad data plan to be “unlimited”.
