Gameloft sells 20 million games on App store

Steve Jobs has boldly claimed that the iPod touch is the most popular hand held gaming platform out there and it seems that developers are backing that. Worlds largest mobile game publisher Gameloft has informed the world that they have sold as many as 20 million games for the iOS (formerly iPhone OS). In the past 2 years Gameloft has published games like Real Golf, Ultimate Spiderman and Heros of Sparta.

?Gameloft has launched nearly 100 games into the Apple App Store since it opened in July 2008. With games such as Brother s In Arms and Lets Golf being the biggest sellers for them

Gameloft develops games for almost all leading platforms; Symbian, Java based mobiles, ?Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Wii/Wiiware and Xbox 360. Having a established developer happy with iTunes doesn’t really help its competition. A certain challenge for Windows Phone 7 and others to get such developers to give their best to them.
