Just days after the release of PwnageTool 4.1, the Dev Team blog has announced the launch of the updated version 4.1.1 for Mac OS X which should ideally fix any issues that OS X 10.5.x users were noticing.
This version is only needed if you were using OS X 10.5.x and received Cydia error messages on the phone.
The Dev Team has also warned ultrasn0w users not to let iTunes restore to the official IPSW. This would result in you losing the network unlock and you’d be stuck without a chance of going back. Instead, they suggest using the Option ? Restore button – and not the “Restore” button. Post this, you’d need to navigate to your custom IPSW and select not to the stock one! If you accidentally started a restore to the official IPSW, unplug your iPhone immediately before the restore gets to the “Updating Firmware” step!
