iPad 2 Wifi Microphone Is Better Than iPad 2 3G

iPad 2 debut in Apple Store (US) on March 11. The main features of the iPad 2 are that it is slimmer, thinner and faster. Most of the key features are due to the newly built design of the tablet and with them, Apple has also shifted the microphone behind the headphone port. In iPad 1, the microphone was located at a position on the same side of the headphone port. This created the major difference in the wifi and GSM+CDMA version to record audio clearly. The Wifi iPad is built completely with the aluminum whereas the 3G model has plastic antenna and due to this fact, the wifi iPad offers clear audio than that of 3G which sounds slightly muffled and echo-prone.

iLounge reported that if we compare the recorded audio between the GSM and CDMA iPad 2, we will find out that the GSM iPad 2 records sound clearly than that of CDMA version. The problem is noticeable when the user is facing the device.
