Samsung's develops Foldable AMOLED, Doesn't Crease

Anything around us leaves a crease when folded; well that’s not precisely the case with Samsung’s new AMOLED’s.  Yes, Samsung’s Advanced Institute of Technology in South Korea has come up with advanced fold-able display, which remains intact despite being folded. The panels when closed have a radius of only 1mm which is very negligible.

The flexible display screen is made of two AMOLED panels, a protective glass cover, Silicone rubber (which serves as the hyper-elastic material) and a module case. It also has a glass covering which will prevent the scratches while it also can easily gel into the touch-screen system too.

A bit of development and finishing touches can give rise to great devices with fold-able techniques with very interesting technology.
